Ken Levine is a pretty big name in the video game industry. The mind behind such seminal titles as Thief: The Dark Project, System Shock 2 and BioShock, Levine's one of those figures who could potentially make third party support for the Wii U explode if he decided to jump on board himself - but sadly, that doesn't look like it's going to happen any time soon.

In an interview with Destructoid, Levine was asked if he had any news to impart regarding Nintendo's latest system:

We never had any news on the Wii U. I bought one and I like it. I play games on it! But in terms of development, nothing is brewing right now.

So it would appear that Levine is a fan of the new console - which is a huge positive - but his involvement is purely for his own personal entertainment at present, rather than in a professional capacity. Let's hope that doesn't remain the case forever - BioShock Infinite is exactly the kind of third party release we want to see on the Wii U.
