Live Down Under? Try New Nintendo Games!
Posted by Brad Long
Be one of the first to try out New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Zelda: Spirit Tracks
Australians! Nintendo of Australia are offering you the chance to give a couple of very anticipated Nintendo games a spin before they are released. It's not often that Aussies get the chance to do stuff like this, so if you live in the Sydney or Melbourne areas, why not make an appearance?
Nintendo will have the two games available to play at the following locations and dates.
The Gamesmen, Penrith
Friday 23rd Oct, to Sunday 25th Oct (11am - 2pm)
The Nintendo Connection at Level 6, Myer Sydney
Wednesday 28th Oct, to Sunday 1st Nov (11am to 2pm)
The Nintendo Experience at EB Games, Level 2, 67 Swanston Street, Melbourne
Wednesday 4th Nov to Thursday 12th Nov, All day
Of course, if you attend let us know - we'd love to see your photos and hear your impressions. Oh, and if you see Olivia Newton-John there, tell her you liked Grease 2 better than the first one and see how she reacts.

Where do you live Chibi?
I unfortunately won't be able to make it to any of the dates, I do live reasonably close to Sydney, but I'll be in Queensland for two weeks!

I'm in NSW too, about halfway between Newcastle and Sydney!

It'll probably be crowded as hell at Swanston Street, so I think I can wait a another month to play the two games.

Not even gonna try. I went to the launch of the Nintendo Connection at Myer. Absolutely the worst place I've ever been too.

@Aviator: Then I'm glad I didn't go, I considered it, lol. Next time they hold a Connection Tour at Chatswood or Parramatta I'm totally there

Guys the flags tell us where your from, no need to announce it, anyway I would have loved to have tried Spirit Tracks before its release, hope they add it as a demo to the Nintendo channel.

Brisbane for me. Even though its a zelda game, its on the DS so I'll pass. I will miss not getting a go of the new super mario bros though
Well done tracking down an Australian advertising promo shot
Ahhh Olivia. Grease is a really annoying movie for a guy who isn't into musicals. Who writes the captions for the photos? I've seen some real gems on this site. Keep up the good work!

@timp29 - the captions are usually from the brains of whoever writes the piece, so this one was all Brad's doing.
