Review Planet Pachinko (WiiWare)
Can you really ever have too much of a good thing?
You have to admit, a shooting/platforming game that takes place inside of a Japanese pachinko machine is indeed an original concept. Not only do you get all of the chaotic action of the pachinko balls dropping down through the various pegs in each level, but you find yourself smack dab in the middle...

News USA WiiWare Update: Planet Pachinko and Jungle Speed
Hold on to your seats, guys – because today’s exciting WiiWare releases have just been confirmed!
First up we have Planet Pachinko, which might sound like a simulation of the popular Japanese gambling machine but is in fact a zany shooter where you assume the role of a robot looking for its puppy. Aww. At 500 points this could be quite...
News Planet Pachinko Out Next Monday On WiiWare
Readers with good memories will remember last month that we did an interview with Allied Kingdoms about their upcoming game Planet Pachinko. It’s great to see an indie company taking a chance on WiiWare with something original like this.
The good news is for anyone interested in this that it will be available for download next Monday (12th Jan) in...
News Allied Kingdoms Interview - Planet Pachinko
The WiiWare service originally set out to be an outlet for indie developers to share their small budget gems with the world. So far we have seen too much of that as most games released are from established development studios with the occasional indie such as 2D Boy finding success.
Enter Darren Wilson from Allied Kingdoms, his company is a true...
News Get Ready to Brave the Dangers of Planet Pachinko
A while ago the ESRB rated a mysterious new WiiWare game called Planet Pachinko, indicating it would be released on WiiWare in the west. Pachinko is an unbelievably popular Japanese arcade game in which you throw coins or balls into a machine and hope they bounce off of pegs into certain slots or cups at the bottom.
Of course we assumed that this...
About The Game
Can you survive the Pachinkeet Temples of Planet Pachinko?
In the future of the future, an ancient civilization has sealed away its riches in elaborate temples dedicated to the game of pachinko. Now the Robot family must fight through these dangerous temples in search of their lost puppy. Using their rockets, lasers, grenades and slime launchers, will they be able to survive the challenges?
They aren't the only ones adventuring through the temples. The pirate Vile Vill and his minions are looking to loot the temples and take on the Robot family. Play in single-player mode or with a friend in exciting two-player co-op.

The name reminds me of the Price is Right.
Pachinko? What a horrible idea for a videogame! All you would do is shoot the ball and watch it bounce around the table, occaisionally shaking it to get it in the nook you want it in. Not very exciting. Definite pass.
@ Mr Cheez:
The Japanese would like to have a little talk with you.
I remember hearing about Pachinko machines on Power Rangers. I don't think I want my game to turn into a monster and attack me, so I think I'll pass.
Well it's... unique
says with italian accent Pachinko!
^ lol. I can picture that too. Heh.
This game looks great already. hopefully there's enough content for a justifiable price.
hmmm..... I might get this.
Dangerous temples in search of a lost puppy? Umm ok. Lol
I guess we can rule out a good storyline lmfao.
this looks surprisingly good. and for only 500 points? but ill wait for the review
It seems like there's too much going on at once. I'm waiting for a review also just to verify. I need to know what I would be getting into if I were to purchase it.
Personally, I would have bought a Pachinko Simulator for 500 Points easy. There's a reason Japan is hooked on the machines.
But this...just seems like run and gun chaos....but in a confined space.
