Review Dr. Mario (3DS eShop / GB)
The doctor’s out
If there’s one thing the 3DS eShop has plenty of, it’s puzzle games. It’s a genre that's always been commonplace on Nintendo handhelds, with Tetris probably the best known example. It’s hardly surprising that Nintendo’s mascot extraordinaire, Mario, invaded Game Boy with his own puzzle title, Dr. Mario. Does it make us...

Random Talented Hackers Are Adding Vibrant Colour To Classic Game Boy Titles
Colour us impressed!
The humble Game Boy was an absolute marvel back in the day. Released prior to the SNES, the handheld system seemed positively futuristic when compared to the decidedly bulkier NES / Famicom. Looking at it today, however, there are plenty of noticeable drawbacks that have been ironed out considerably in the decades since with...

No Game Gear games for Europe this week sadly as we have a truly paltry selection available to download. About The Game
Dr. Mario - the prescription is fun.
It's Dr. Mario for an intense new challenge! Mario throws multi-shaded vitamin capsules into a bottle that contains an ugly variety of nasty viruses. You can move, shift or spin the capsules as they fall.
Arrange them to align with other capsules on top of a virus. If you can get 4 or more of the same shade in a row, POOF! They disappear! Destroy all of the viruses in the bottle and you progress to the next round where things get even more difficult.
Dr. Mario, with germs that are fun to catch.

Pretty pointless since we already have Dr. Mario on DSiWare.
That's true. And there'll only be a 100 point price difference between the GB and DSiWare versions...
....that is unless Nintendo have the decency to offer this game for the price of a regular Gameboy game, rather than as a "premium" priced one.
I'd rather have this version than the new DSiware version.
Classic doctor I wish he treated me!
Will be getting this on release.
Kind of not worth it since all Ambassadors get Dr Wario - and a fast paced Dr Mario minigame for free. Even people who arent can get the DSiWare version - so this probably wont get as much sales as they thought. :/
If they had released it at around when Japan got it - maybe then.
This is a pointless release. If any game benefits from a little color, its this one as the colors make it easier to distinguish the pills
This is a pointless release.
If it exists and there's no licensing issues or anything then its going on the service.
