Topic: Bit.Trip Runner First Impressions

AH oh em gee this game looks amazing. I'll get this and what other Bit trip game should I get? What's the next best?

I've just finished Runner, great game. Every title of the Bit.Trip-series feels unique and has something special.
Although I've died a lot my motivation didn't drop and I tried it again and again. It's nice that you stay in game if you die, it keeps the flow

Game is AWESOME! I'm currently at the first boss level! Man this game is a pain!

great game but it does hurt your eyes after a while.

The retro stages are boring as there is no music but at least theres more levels. World 2 was easier than 1 and so was the boss. World 3 is really hard as the stages end up growing in height so there is two ways to run, on the top and botttom. It gets really hectic and is hard to see what is coming your way.

Whats really good about it is that its less hard to get frustrated at, because you know you made the mistake.

Wow Zone 3 is pretty horrible :/ it's ugly, and also the foreground and background items are difficult to distinguish, specifically the gaps in the floor. This is clearly an intentional design choice though, so maybe it's not an issue for most people. I can't see myself wanting to replay these levels after I've beaten the game

I've turned the Wii off in a rage twice so far =D

Also my gf kept telling me to be quiet 'cause I was shouting a lot, so I put the remote in her hand and set her up on the first level. She's been screaming the house down for the last ten minutes

I just played some more Zone 3 levels and I could actually see everything clearly, so I think all that happened was that I'd played for too long and my vision was getting blurry, either that or I just got used to how everything looked. Zone 3 is so miserable looking though, like half my deaths on these levels are from randomly leaping into walls because I've got bored and zoned out

Also,

you lie. I have recently concluded, after a thorough scientific analysis using state-of-the-art technology, that 3-10 is impossible to beat. Hence, you cannot possibly have finished the game.

In fact, I spent most of the time at 3-11, I think it's the hardest part of the game ^^
But the last boss level is less difficult, you can almost enjoy this level

This game is too good for its own good. I'm on the Odyssey level (1-11, I think). It's crazy!

I'm on 3-11 now, it must have taken me over two hours to beat 3-10 :< think I'm near the end of 3-11 since I get the full rainbow trail. Massive respect Yeeaah for beating the game within 24 hours or whatever you did it in, the last few levels are hardcore

I just discovered you can press left to play musical notes like pressing buttons in Beat =D

I have beaten 3-11. Next up is the end boss. I spend ages on 3-10 and 1-10 (or 1-11, not sure). I spend surprisingly less time on 3-11.
