Just wanted to check with the community about an idea I had. Would loyalty discounts on games at launch get you to make a purchase right away, instead of waiting for a sale? For instance, something like: Own or Purchase ANY game by RCMADIAX and receive XXXXXXXX for 50% off during its first 2 weeks. I'm not sure if something like this is possible from Nintendo's perspective, but wanted to gather some feedback on the subject.
That would be good, but aren't you stopping production of Wii U games after Color Bombs, so it would apply to one game? Or is it that you're working on more Wii U titles?

I would assume it is possible. I mean not too long ago you got a 10% discount on kirby canvas curse if you had bought one of the eshop/vc kirby games as well.
Also doesn't giving a launch discount mean that sales will basically dry up after the launch discount period or am i missing something?
I think week 1 discounts are a good idea - everyone knows a sale will come, and if you have a backlog (as many do) its easy to wait...
Affordable Space adventures is a good example. I would quite like it, but i probably won't play it under the autumn...so might as well not pay full price... but if it had 25% off on the first week, I would have got it ..

We have re-instated development of several titles after adjusting our budgets to be more in-line with what we can expect sales to be.

I loved Blok Drop U. You should make a sequel, that would be good!

Fancy "early adopter" sales are always good at attracting customers.
I know Nintendo has done similar offers with their games (buy one of these games, get that other game at a discount), but I don't know if they have that kind of offer available for other devs.
It can make a difference, but the game has to be appealing in the first place. Assuming the latter a loyalty discount can make it easier to do a knee-jerk purchase.
I think a 10% or 20% discount would be enough for me, I buy all my Wii U games digitally (I guess 3DS games too lol), and I would love a small incentive for doing so, also I think all pre-order digital DLC should be made available to anyone who pre-purchases a game through the Nintendo eShop

He did. It's called Blok Drop X Twisted Fusion. If you remotely liked Blok Drop U then you should definitely check it out!
