Topic: Is it possible, to download NA-eshop stuff with a european Wii U?

Hello,

my stand is in Europe and I want to download games from the north american eshop. There is no option in the european Wii-U channel, so I guess it`s not possible under regular circumstances. But do I have to modify my Wii-U console or isn`t it possible to access the NA-shop in no case? (except of buying an american Wii U, of course ; )

Wii U is region locked (same as 3DS) so you need to buy a NA Wii U to get games from the NA eshop.

Why would anyone with an European Wii U want to download from NA eshop? There's nothing good the NA has that the European eshop doesn't. Thanks to Reggie NA eshop will miss out on many good games European Wii U eshop has.
