So I am Croatia and bought the Wii U premium from UK amazon. I created an account for my wife and the region is locked to the UK and every item I try to buy (would like to buy the 2 pack for Mario Kart 8) is in £. Due to the currency it would be much cheaper for me to buy in €. I still didn't buy anything so the account can be deleted if that means anything at all....
Now my question is:
if i change the country (residence) in the console settings to Croatia (do i need to make a new account to shop in eshop?) will i be able to buy all the stuff from the eshop as usual and in € or will there be some limitations?
1) Change you country to 'Croatia' in country settings.
2) Make a new account (and make sure it's set to Croatian)
3) Try to access the e-Shop.
I'm pretty sure it will work. In the Americas, if you take, say, an US Wii U and make a new Canadian account, the e-Shop prices will be in Canadian dollars once you access it from the Canadian account.
Yeah I think this shouldn't be a big deal. Not sure why anyone thinks Amazon would know what to do - they sell stuff, they don't support it!
I'd be curious to know if you'd actually need to delete the account. Unless you put credit against it, that might not be the case, but basically what ricklongo said, change the country and you should probably be good to go. It's not like Nintendo has different firmware for every country in Europe!
