@Clicketyclick, your avatar bedazzles me more than truth - so maybe I'll end up getting this game. Honestly though, it's not the clutter or management aspects I don't enjoy - Lord knows I get enough practice with them in the real world - but perhaps it's the deferred results. I'm just not into the Sims-style games. Thanks for the heads up!
I'm not either, but there is a story mode which is guided and has a conclusion so that I can get behind; if I then decide to noodle about there's an open ended "sim" mode.
