Topic: VC games are still black

Forgive me for posting about this again, but I've tried everything. SNES and NES will not appear while playing, but I can still hear the game sounds and music. When bring up the home screen, the game appears in the background but when I get rid of the home screen it either goes black again or freezes(but I can still hear the game). I've tried configuring stuff both on the wii and on my LCD tv, and the whole "hold Z, A, and 1" thing but that didn't work. If anyone has anything please tell me.

P.S N64 games work btw.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, would you kindly?

Have you tried deleting them and redownloading them?

Care to explain? Would that mean re-buying them?

Once purchased, they are free to download forever.

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.

Nifty. I'll try it out. They were working briefly today but then went black again. I post back here with the results later.

Well I tried re-downloading them, but no success. Man I'm desperate.

I'd contact customer service. It might be a problem with the Wii rather than the VC games.

Try changing the screen resolution on your Wii. I had the same problem with DK Jr. where the screen was black, but when I changed the screen resolution the game worked fine. If that doesn't do it, then do what The Fox said.

There's only one res option I can use. The other setting(the one on the top) is not selectable. Most likely, that unselectable choice is the solution.

Sounds like you should call customer service then.

They do not. The resolution should be 4:3 on your Wii

Are you using a HD tv? Go to the settings for your tv on your wii and select either HDTV or Standard TV (whichever your tv is). This happened to me before and this method worked.

Not used. Got it last Christmas. Gonna get the component cables soon. If that doesn't work, dang.
