Wow. Nice praise from IGN, sounds like they enjoyed everything except lack of WiiSpeak. That's with giving the graphics a 7.5, but who needs those when the game is awesome? No friend codes either. I would have picked this up on Tuesday with Indy but I didn't see it.
9.0 out of 10. Here

I've heard nothing but praise from this game. However I cannot stand the visuals, and I'm not a golf fan, so at best I'll rent it.
I made Kid Tripp! PocketGamer gave it a 9 out of 10! You should totally buy it now!

I thought the graphics were pretty good, a lot better than the graphics for Wii Sports Golf.

Not only that, it looks like it's on track to be the defindent Tiger Wood PGA Tour 10. IGN and IUP gave the Wii version higher scores then the PS3 or Xbox 360 version. They praised it for having more courses and exclusive features.
On unrelated topic, my brother went into my room without underwear on. That's disgusting!

@Linktothefuture: Perhaps it's drawing more polygons, but Wii Sports Golf at least looks cleaner and brighter. TW looks bland and puke.

The graphics are no big deal for me, I'd buy it when it's released in Europe. We Love Golf is alright but I hate the control scheme
When you say no friend codes, can we add friends then without needing the codes or what?

The graphics are alright. But I haven't played any next-gen Woods games. I loved the PS2 ones, and the DS ones have been pretty good too. So I haven't been spoiled by the HD yet.
There's also real-time weather that it pulls from the Wii's Weather Channel, which is a cool feature.

I have never considered getting any of the sports games before, but I want this one. I liked the golf game in Wii sports, but this looks like it's going to be so realistic that it would be the next best thing. I've never really played golf, but I did want to try it out and this looks like a great way to do so. This kind of experience is one of the reasons why I got a Wii.
I'm also interested in the tennis game (or games?) that uses motion plus.

@Terranigma: Yes, it uses the EA Nation servers.

I'm buying this just so I have another Motion Plus with Wii Resort.
Sounds like one of the best experiences on the console.

G4 gave it a perfect 5/5, for whatever that's worth.

It's awesome. It's the best sports game I own, hands down. Incredible.

Well how many sports games do you own?

I am having a ball with it, but I am also getting so frustrated with it.
I am not sure if it is me or the game, but man I just can't make a straight, 80-100% shots off without drawing/fading for the life of me! T_T

Do you suck in real life?

I don't play golf in real life, and was that comment really necessary?

This game is an insta-buy! (If you have the dosh)@Pixelman - How good do you want green grass to look in a videogame? Seriously, the graphics look pretty good as it is supposed to be more simulation-like. And with MotionPlus, this kicks all other video golf games... ever. Until next year's version, probably.

It was totally necessary.
If you sucked in real life and couldn't hit a powerful shot down the fairway it'd show how accurate the controls were.
You don't play golf though so we'll never know!
For me I can see if I make the same mistakes in the game that I make in real life.

Well you make it seem like I have no idea what I am doing which is partially right, but the way you said it made me felt you were just mocking me, and that "real" gamers will have no trouble at all.
Anyway, yes, the last time I hit the driving range I really slice my shots badly.

The reviews for the last two Tiger Woods were so 'blah', but this has me excited for the series again! So many drunken nights of playing golf on the PS2... now I can relive it again with motion sensors! Hurray! Must buy...
