Every controller to be wireless - (Like the Nunchuck 2 or Classic Controller 2 for example)
then why not wirelessly recharge the controls using power from the wii 2?
This is ground control to major Tom, you've really made the grade. And the papers want to know whose shirts you wear
Now it's time to leave the capsule if you dare
If the Next Nintendo Console is called Wii 2, I'm not buying it.
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...

But yeah, I really want Nintendo to freaking amaze me beyond my wildest dreams, instead of just doing what everyone else is. That's why I love Nintendo, so unique. Maybe something like the pods in Avatar.
and perhaps ports of PS1 games (if the XBOX 360 can have Castllevania SotN then so should Nintendo).
That isn't going to happen. Doing this kind of stuff would get Nintendo and the responsible third-party in huge trouble with Sony. Take for example the game you mentioned. The Xbox 360 port was fine because it was a version of the game, not the PlayStation version and it was different enough from the original PS version to be legal. If Nintendo and Konami were to put the PS1 version on the Virtual Console, Sony would sue both of them and they would lose a lot of money for this. Plus the game is already available in North America and Japan via PlayStation Network (Although not Europe, but it does not support your argument that we might get PlayStation ports), so why would they want to share money with a company that is competing against them?
The PlayStation version of the game will never see a Virtual Console release, no if's, and's, or but's. That leaves the Sega Saturn version, but considering that it is Japan-exclusive and that Igarashi expressed disdain for this version, a release for this game at all is at best, very poor.

As in you got to sleep and then wake up inhabiting the body of the game system? I'm not sure how you could make a game off of that. Then again, I wasn't sure how you would make a game using a bathroom scale either.
What do you think of my idea about a new dashboard/interface?

When you start up your system, you are inside a house and you can control your mii.
Walking around the house, you will see other miis created on your wii (You can press a button to go to the regular menu)
You can press a button and go to map mode. (You will see the Mii Plaza, Shop Store, Nintendo Channel store, Check Mii Out boardwalk, Everybody Votes Park, etc...)
Once you go out of your house you will see all of the Miis you encountered online, walking around the world.
Rightoutside you would see a place called Gaming Galore. (This is where you go to play the game inside the console)
Inside it you will also be able to play games you've downloaded too.
Then there will be a ship (Where everything on your SD card is at)
Also, when you download some new channels, new buildings will pop up.
@Waveboy Nintendo Dolphin definately isn't going to be the name of it as project dolphin was the codename for the Gamecube. @FunkyGamer The lazer beams shooting out is actually how the Kinect works. They've video taped it with an infrared camera. @eirikr I think I remember reading somewhere that the next nintendo console will not be 3D.(interview) It doesn't work well from broad angles. If Xbox or PS go 3D, I think they will fail because extra sets of glasses add up quick and don't allow for spectators. Nintendo however does need to step it up in graphics upon seeing what the competition has to offer. I think we are still going to be seeing motion gaming from now on but in subtle ways. I don't think we'll see near as many wii sports-esque titles but more excite truck, Super Mario Galaxy and Skyward sword games. Nintendo is probably gonna lose their casual audience anyways because they're not gonna want to invest in it again after seeing its playlife.
@SimmerE14 I've always wanted to see animal crossing menu interface. The game always seemed like a sideshow to me to something bigger (no offence). PS: sorry for the double post.

So have I. It would be awesome if they do it right!
@armoredghor & @SimmerE14: I thought about that too. For being the online world of the system. I imagined it being like this.
Everyone's got his own individual house which looks different to the others by giving it a style in the vein of the game you've played the longest. for example
You can let people into your house, watch videos, read something or listen to your game music together.
You can play any multiplayer game you own with them. Only you have to own that particular game. Well it would be great for WiiWare or VC multiplayer titles at least.
By achieving something (special) in a game you get t-shirts or other new accessories for your house or your Mii.
It would link your Wii and 3DS stats and some games from the VC and WiiWare would be playable on your 3DS too.
That's just a thought and i don't know how practical it would be or how soon the novelty would wear off. And i don't think it would be a real selling point for any system. Because only games are really. But it gives an idea on what i'd love to see on the next Nintendo console. Aside from all the evolutionary things like better tech and better graphics. Something social to show off which you get out of playing all these sweet and awesome games. No matter how long they are or how low their replayability is. Well that and something so unique no one can think of it yet.
Every controller to be wireless - (Like the Nunchuck 2 or Classic Controller 2 for example)
Yes, that would be a very good thing. As long as the prices for these controllers won’t be much higher then though. And i'd still love to use all the stuff i bought for my Wii.

IF this became a reality, I can't wait to have an Animal Crossing house lol
