Actually no, I am 23. I love to see the Bash of an opinion and just the complete rudeness of the users on this site.

I'd rather not see opinions bashed on, please.
@Brennan - please tell me you did not just say you wanted us to be rude and insulting? 'cause if so, that is insulting.

Ok I understand that everyone voices an opinion. But how can one say that ones that Whine and Complain about new Sonic games are not fans. I was alive way before the first games came out and I loved them. I have played just about every sonic game since because I would like to consider myself a fan. I am just a concerned fan that thinks they should just let the series lay to rest and move on. Many other franchises would have given up by now, which would ultimatley be a good move.

This, and there's other franchises out there under Sega's name that deserve spotlight in this generation other than average Sonic.
Phantasy Star Online, NiGHTS, a Billy Hatcher sequel, etc. (I'm not familiar with Sega's franchises but i do know there's more than just Sonic.)

The Game.

Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

I think there can be a few pedantic posts about the place, but generally this site is a pretty cool place for games discussion.

Sorry, it's hard to see if your being sarcastic or not. To clarify, I know people won't agree with many opinions, even I don't. But, there is a better way of handling it by just stating your opinion on the matter at hand and not BASH the user that stated his/her opinion.

Edit- No StarBoy91, I was being sarcastic stating that. I hate being bashed for an opinion. If people could just not be so rude about things it would make stuff so much easier. I say, state your own opinion on the matter and leave it at that. I have been feeling the need to defend myself on my own opinion about a post where I just stated that they need to leave Sonic alone.

I think the bashing of others' opinions is completely unnecessary. To each his own, I always say. I respect others' opinions.

All is forgiven but there is some hint of rudeness in some areas. Sometimes it is hidden in the text with sarcasim. But I do agree IGN is horrible about that stuff.

I think it's because the majority of people on Nintendoife are very mature and just flat out love everything Nintendo. IGN's PS3 and 360 Message boards are ridiculous. There are too many angry immature kids on that site spitting out their silly, uninformed brainless opinions and hate against Nintendo. Even on the IGN Wii Lobby you'll see many downer threads from some PS3/360 owner just to get everybody riled up. I rarely ever go there anymore. I only go to IGN to check out for Wii, DS and PS3 news. Even IGN Nintendo themselves have been making negative threads towards Nintendo just to get hits....Or they were a couple of months ago.

I think if you become an Insider on IGN and actually go to the main Messageboards you'll find alot more older and mature posters, but i don't really care. Because I love it here so much more

Actually the fans had nothing to do with it. It is the reviews and me playing the games myself that makes me come to my conclusions. I don't take anyone's word on a video game. I will read a review or preview from magazines such as Nintendo Power or Game Informer, etc. I know video games are a form of entertainment and that entertainment has to change with the times. I just don't like the way that Sonic is changing. Is that so hard to understand? And technically I said nothing about Sonic 4 in my original post. Sonic 4 was brought up by someone else and I stated that I do have hopes for it but I still have my doubts.

Okay, I kinda get what you're original intentions were. I think you just over-exaggerated the whole topic, which led me to believe other things beside your actual intentions. My bad. Over-Exaggeration + The Internet =/= Reality. I gotta remember that equation.
