Anyway that shows it'd be the first time they've gone two years without any Party at all, and at the same time a new Mario mini-game collection has sold like crazy.

Yeah, no examples, especially not the two year breaks between 3 and 4, and 7 and 8. No examples.

More than two years.

I was going to back and edit but I thought you were bright enough to infer that from my point.

Haha, are you kidding? Either the point flew about ten miles over your head, or you're trolling.

Do you know who I am?

Eh, either way, I'll try to make this one easy for you.

Golf and Tennis are both sports games. They're completely different types of sports though, one won't take sales away from another. (Hey when did these ever get released close to each other though? Because if not you have no point at all.)

Sonic and Party are both mini-game collections, but there's nothing totally different about them. They have similar motion controls to perform a variety of different content, that's it.

I mean shake up to go fast, shake left and right for stuff, why would people buy two of those?

Oh, the chart is from Wikipedia, which I should have noted. I'm not dedicated to the argument enough to start making any charts myself.

As for those things I need to show you, neither one can be shown anytime soon, and neither one is required for me to be correct in the argument. Developers / publishers are only likely to take the time to make DSi-specific titles for retail if / when the system's sales justify it fully, which certainly won't be in the next few months. The M&S and Mario Party game series not appearing at the same time also proves nothing about the complex motives behind that. So, evidence can certainly prove your position wrong, but a lack of evidence won't do anything towards proving you right.

Meh, I don't care for Mario Party, but I imagine now that the Motion+ is out we'll see a Motion+ compatible Mario Party, which could be interesting.

I want the next Mario Party to have Nintendo Wi-Fi.

Mario Party should be Old-Yeller-ed in the backyard. 7 clones, then finally they bring 8 to the Wii with the potential for new, intersting Wiimote minigames, and it was the worst entry I've ever played. The series is wasting the world's time--make a Wii Motion Plus Warioware or something....

It'll probably be WiiWare. I doubt a ten dollar download would be competition for the Mario and Sonic games.

I like Mario Party, but I think the game needs a new developer. Hudson's ideas are getting kinda stale.

One Mario Party for each console is enough for me, thanks.

With MotionPlus and some new characters or such to make it be able to be some different from other Mario Parties, where there are very quick ways to play and some kind of not so much random but things changing up because of other save files, time of day, number of people (you know to make it extra special) and so on...
go for it...
my MP8's scratched past a certain point anyways,
and some new replacement might work (for me to get and have to have MP lol)

So Wario, you have to come find me when Mario Party releases around the same time as Mario & Sonic.

Hope I can win this for Wario, Mario & Sonic was released in the US on November 6, 2007. Mario Party DS was released in the US on November 19, 2007 only 13 days later. Further more, was also, released that same year. So, there! Is 13 days short enough for you AlexSays.

Scrap that whole Mario Party series and make it a "Nintendo Party" with themes and characters from Zelda, Metroid, etc.
(just like Smash Bros.)
