Exclusive characters sounds nice, as does content, but at the same time, that kind of blows, too. I mean, why not have similar content between the three ala Mega Man 9? I don't want to spend money to buy all three versions for all content. Furthermore, stating that it is getting extra content including online play implies that they will be adding EVEN MORE content into the game. As bad as this might sound, there is still the potential for DLC for WiiWare, if they really wanted to include it.

Personally, this is an example of a developer making a game they want and fitting it into services rather than the other way around. Bit.Trip, for example, was made around the WiiWare system, but this game is being made for PC and going into the WiiWare service. Seeing it this way, I completely understand the decision. I hope they eventually make a WiiWare-focused game next time around.

I still feel like I was strung along a bit before being told I was getting a later, more inferior product in the end.

If you think about it, it makes sense. The game features characters specific to each download service (Tim from Braid for XBLA and Commander Video from Bit. Trip for WiiWare). Still, giving XBLA those extra features and not WiiWare is a pretty lame move...

...that said i'm still interested in it. :3

No. The First MeatBoy sucked, yet it was praised despite being in a broken state. I doubt they'll do much to fix it.

I agree that the first one sucked, but they actually said they are doing a lot to fix it, the controls particularly.

Come on, friends,
