I kid you not, this is a real issue.

I just downloaded Tipping Stars and on multiple occasions it has tripped the breaker when playing world 1-2. I thought it was the Wii U itself, so I unplugged a host of other items to leave as little on the circuit as possible, but it still tripped. I can play any other game for hours at a time without issue, but not Tipping Stars.

I'll give it another go but I've never heard of something like this before.

A old problem I used to have with Mario Kart 8 was that certain tracks just wouldn't play. Some tracks would work just fine but others would cause the Wii U just to stop working. Every-time the race for a certain track would start... my Wii U would say a connection would be lost or the disc couldn't be read. It was SOOO frustrating. It eventually stopped, though. So I understand your frustration when a game randomly causes your Wii U to behave weird.

I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

Wii U to act weird? Heck man, this is shutting down the power in his house. lol
Well, bad coding can make a PC game cause your computer to run hot, possible this game is doing something that is making the Wii U run hot or just over volting. I would actually be concerned about damage to the Wii U and would not play that until you get a resolution.

Hahaha yeah. Mario Kart 8 works fine with my Wii U now. Its just that for a few weeks when I first got the game, it wouldn't play certain tracks. But the problem randomly stopped one day. And I an sorry about your situation

it's quite possible the game has code that wasn't downloaded properly when (if you got it digitally). Try deleting it and redownloading it. Couldn't hurt unless your waist deep in the game and don't wanna lose progress.

I'm just going to say.... millions of events happen all the time therefore one in a million events happen all the time. Things a damn coincidence. Nothing more. Something else is causing the problem.

I was under the impression that this game was only available digitally.
