So, just looking for advice. My Wii U has been making a clicking noise at night whenever the yellow light comes on. Notably, this has been since disconnecting it from HDMI, and I don't hear it during the day.
Any advice? Really don't want this system to die.
On mine the light is more orange than yellow, I'd say. The light indicates the Wii U is communicating with Nintendo servers, I believe. I don't know for sure, but I suspect it's for stuff like checking for updates, sending activity data etc. Happens every night I think.
Do you have an external hard drive? If so, check it's not that clicking rather than the console, as I think the process includes some kind of ex.hdd scan.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
