I just got Tekken Tag 2 Today. And when I play It. It keeps coming up with the disc read error code saying please clean the disc. Then It crashes my console. The other two Wii u games just work fine. Looks like I'll have to take It back for a exchanged.
There maybe a problem with the disk itself, my copy of tekken tag 2 works fine.
Sometimes you'll find print errors in a run, I had DVD a few years back that had a small bubble under the read surface that was barely noticeable. Neadless to say ny player didn't like it.

I'll give It another go tomorrow. I've played the game ok half of the time I get the disc read error.
Took the game back for another disc. But this time It doesn't bloody load up just a black screen. And the disc stop running. My other two Wii u games just works fine. Getting a refund tomorrow. I don't know what the problem Is thought.
There's also the chance that the save data could have been corrupted, so it might be worth deleting it and starting again.
I've done what you said delete save data and update date. But still no joy Thanks for trying to help me out with your suggestions. I am greatful for that
Took the game back today. And told them It happened again. Then I find out that the copies of discs are faulty batch. But I did got a refund and now downloading the game from the eshop. Just to be on the safe side.
