Topic: Splatoon Online Peer-to-Peer??

Hi. I know there is a general Splatoon Topic but think this topic deservers a separate section on its own. Can anyone confirm if Splatoon uses dedicated servers or peer-to-peer for online gaming? I reckon it's peer-to-peer and if so, that would explain situations such as shooting an opponent, opponent dies and then 2-3 seconds later, you died also. I find the online experience pretty good most of the time but can be frustrating if the latency is slow.

Yes, it's P2P just like Smash and MK8. The servers are for matchmaking.

On top of that it's region free, which can make the whole experience pretty laggy.
