Are you asking if anyone else uses a spinning office chair instead of physically turning themselves and the gamepad while playing those games?

I don't in NintendoLand.

I did, for a while, on Steeldiver however.

Yup.

Kinda want more games that use the gamepad in that way, instead of just another map or inventory system. The office chair is a great addition lol...

It's rather amusing, if you turn 360 degrees with the chair, your ship will end up facing the exact position as you had left off. So your chair essentially becomes the ship. Kinda gives you a lot of control, dependent on if your chair needs oil or not. Also it's less disorientating and you don't have to worry about the fan over your head.

Add the F-Zero Nintendoland game to the list. Makes it easier to do those extreme left and right turns, and to regain control afterwords.

You're right. Do you know the way Metroid Prime 3 works with the Wii remote's pointer? Where ever direction you aim the pointer to, the screen will automatically turn in that direction. That's the way I wished for Metroid Blast and Zelda Battle Quest to work, those games are still fun though. For Metroid Blast, you can hold the A button and point in a direction for the screen to turn and move at the same time is actually quite easy for me, but the gamepad for both games is a partial problem, especially when you just want to sit and relax.

Can't you still use the right analog stick to turn left or right? To look up and down you have to move the GamePad.

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Yep, which solves Varia's problem.

If you use the analog with the chair, you can get pretty fast turns and you can get away with not turning the whole 360 degrees.

You can do that while sitting still too without giving yourself vertigo
