It's not a question of the total number of games. It's a question of compelling reasons to get a Wii U rather than going with something else. Right now the best reason to get a Wii U is for Nintendo Land. Everything else worth getting it for is just as good on the 360/PS3/PC.
There's hardly if any compelling reasons to dive into the Wii U territory right now if you're planning on getting one. Though I think of the Wii U as great granting what I know now when I made my purchased last December then I'll wait. The lack of games & 3rd party support is what worries me right now.
i dont think i have seen you ever have 1 good thing to say about the wii u. maybe if you didnt live on this forum you might find the games enjoyable. wii u is def next gen and nintendo makes the best games. you need to play them. looking at a forum all day sure isnt fun. There are more games out for the wii u then either the 360 or ps3 had. better games too. ps3 has jack shit for a year.
Yeah, it's awesome! I'm currently playing Rayman Legends Challenge App and New Super Mario U. People say Wii U is a weak system but I disagree and I think by the end of this year Wii U will be considered an awesome system to own, even though I already think it is. Super Mario Wii U, Wind Waker HD, Sonic (tentative title), and Rayman Legends will be the must have Wii U games of 2013!

this draught is mainly rayman legends fault you know, we shoul've had is around this time so you'd have a nice line in the year.
New super mario-zombiu-rayman-lego undercover-vc and wiiware-pikmin3-mario kart etc. So the delay of both pikmin and rayman is a bit unfortunate..
All i'm doing know is making a scary villains face, rubbing my hands and cradling my wiiu saying "soon my precious, soon".
Oh and i'm having a blast thanks to the rayman app, zombiu and just dance4 ( and to think I never liked ubisoft games before!) next up is probably assasins creed or the batman asylum game, everyones been hysterical about those for years and I never played any of them ^_^

Yea... frankly, it's best to just ignore people who spend more time typing on forums than actually playing the games/systems they are criticizing.
I'm loving mine although there arent to many games I'm interested in there are still many great Eshop and VC titles and few good disc games like NSMU, Lego city undercover and others. Also miiverse is really good and has a thriving community.

I'm enjoying mine due to Monster Hunter but that's about it right now.
The lack of games is frustrating and I'm on my PS3 more because of it. I have little interest in the VC titles so far since I already own them or bought the games on Wii VC.
The console has potential but right now its just MH and waiting on Pikmin 3 for me until further notice.
Four more months until Bayonetta 2.
