The Wii U... ah yes, it started in 2012 and i wasn't intrested, but now with MK8, SSB4, TTT and some other amazing games... i regret of what i said, because my parents are reading how bad it is selling in the News Paper, i cant get it and im also kinda scared of how they will react when i mention i actually like it... does anyone have some tips? -HyperShadow

Why would they not want to buy it if it's selling slow?

Hmm well if you don't mind waiting for Christmas you could ask for one then, and show them games like Mario Kart and smash that pretty much make the console worth owning. Or show them allllll the games out and coming up that would easily pay for the console in how much fun they'll be. Or that you'd probably play more on the wii u than another console. Might not be true but it's worth a shot

I am a parent, so let me give you some advice. Get good grades at school, do chores or work around the house without being told to, be nice to your siblings and obey your parents, and save some of your own money. Do all of these things without telling them that you're planning on asking for something later. After doing this for at least a month, but maybe even longer, is when you should you bring up that you want a Wii U. It might also be a good idea to wait for a special sale or promotion to help you convince them that it is a good time to make the purchase.

There is still one problem though, it sounds really strange to say to your parents: Can i do chores? even more since im kinda lazy XD

I thought Holland does celebrate Christmas though? I heard something insane about Santa having a black slave helper called Black Pete in Holland, I even went on Ebay and saw they sell Black Pete wrapping paper.

1- Do 300 chores around the house. They will be so grateful that they will buy a Wii U for you.
2- Let them play a game of new super mario bros. They will get so hooked that will want the newest super mario bros which comes with a Wii U(you potentially create a monster).
3- Get a job. Fairly self-explanatory.
4- Scam people out of their money. Again fairly self-explanatory.
5- Wait till Christmas and beyond.

Are you referring to the celebration of Sinterklaas? Also we do celebrate Christmas o.0

Wait, wait. You're afraid that if you tell your parents that you like the Wii U, they'll think you're lame?

The way I was told the story about Black Pete was that it's in Holland and he's Santa's slave so I assumed it was Xmas. So is Black Pete a part of Sinterklass and not Xmas then?

Yes Christmas is not much different here than it is in other parts of the world. And yes Black Pete is part of Sinterklaas.

Can you make extra work =€? If so, then just saving up yourself might be a good idea. If can work something like that out, then would your parents not want you to get one still? If you told them that was your plan from the beginning then would that change their minds as you would have been planning and saving for a while, so you've obviously made a well thought out and planned decision. And as mentioned before, combining it with Christmas or whatever holiday you have with gifts might be a good idea. You may also want to hold off on SSB4 on 3DS if you want it on Wii U, the money would probably be better saved than spent on a game you'll get again.

You should find a stick first. Then help out somebody removing a beehive from a tree with that stick. Once you get the honey in the beehive, trade it for a pineapple. Give the pineapple to an explorer and he will give you a flower in return. Now trade the flower for canned food. And so on.
I'm sure if you keep doing this you'll eventually find something you can trade for a WiiU without asking your parents.

Damn, that's a lot of birthday money. When I was 13, my mom bought me a suitcase.
