Topic: Help selling a Wii U with downloaded games on it.

Hi forum,
some advice on the following would be appreciated.
My daughter wants to sell her Wii U to put towards buying new Switch games.
The thing is the Wii U has some downloaded games on the console ( Mario Kart 8, Splatoon & Minecraft) that I want to sell with it.
I'm not that familiar with the system myself but I recall in order to buy the games I had to set up a Nintendo ID in my name and put in my credit card details. I do not want to sell a system with my details still on it, but I do want to sell it with the games downloaded on it as it's considerably more valuable.
I've seen people selling Wii Us on eBay with the downloaded games on them so I know it's possible I just don't know how to do it myself.

Anyone who can help and guide me with what I need to do would be very much appreciated

Make new account with no private details, delete old account(s) - the games will be there.

In particular, what one redditor posted:
"If you want to sell the Wii U with digital games, you should have the person buying and you sit down and contact Nintendo and transfer the purchases from your NNID to the buyers NNID. Then format the memory of the Wii U and it is now sellable. That way you still have your NNID but they get thier games. And when Nintendo Customer Serivce says they can't do that, ask for a supervisor or someone because it definitely can be done."

That being said, I never tried this so I can't say if it works, but it probably wouldn't hurt to try! If you do try it out, please let me know how it goes! (I have a Wii U with Splatoon and Nintendoland downloaded that I may sell in the future.)
