I wanted Wii Sports to be online, too. But considering how absolutely worthless the online is in Brawl, I can't imagine it would've turned out playable.

That's what I wanted in the first place and the lack of an online system in the game caused Xbox Live to take over today.

Yes, because Wii Sports didn't have an online multiplayer mode, Xbox Live triumphed. That's why.

Unless you just meant for you personally

Not all Wii games are bad at online. I thought MKWii's online was fantastic.

Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

A beat me up quest kinda like the subspace emassary with a cast of different Nintendo characters like SSBB did, but have your choice of teaming up with either the good guys or bad guys depending which character you choose, and have a bunch of items from other Nintendo games like the super mushroom and hookshot

Something along the lines of this. I wanna fight mario and kirby! (and dont say "then play the subspace emmisarry" or "go play SSB," even though if you did, you're probabobly joking)

I am Grodus. I will kidnap YOUR princess for the Shadow Queen, too!

A game called craft n' mine where you play as a guy and farm, mine, craft, explore, build, and fight monsters! It is a truly original idea and nothing like it has ever been done before.

Who are you running from? (?_?)/
someday there will be a cactus pokemon, that is actually good.
(O vvv O)/ add me if you want to play KI:U, or ACNL, OR Pokemon
I make a lot of typos, so expect many of my posts to be edited

Yeah, I agree. Mario Kart Wii's online was great. I just don't think Nintendo would've nailed it right out of the gate with Wii Sports considering the online play for their Wii games were hit and miss.

Generic main character named "Pilot" with his trusty overpowered grenade launcher attached to his trusty overpowered automatic assault rifle. He then runs around the jungle and other various locales shooting up Nintendo characters.

You play as a, digitalized blue character named [I dunno LOL]. You are inside a computer, and your purpose is to defeat viruses threatening a computer that contains bomb launching codes. Each level contains enemies (viruses) and obstacles (firewalls). You will punch, kick, smash and ground pound your way through the levels and try to complete the level as quickly as possible as well as cause as much destruction as possible. You can earn currency from defeating viruses as well. Currency can be used to upgrade attacks, speed, health, ect. You can pull off attacks using the touch screen on the Wii U gamepad/3ds touch screen. There are online leaderboards that share completion times and points earned via destruction. There is a level editor, and you can publish levels online. There are 2 multiplayer modes- Havoc and Race. Both modes support local and online. In Havoc, one player places enemies and obstacles in a generic arena and the other player must destroy as much as possible within a small time limit. In race, 2 players compete for the most points. They need to get to the end of a level as quickly as possible and destroy as much as possible as well. These 2 factors are totaled for a score. In one variation, players can attack each other. In another variation, they can't attack each other- they can also pass through each other.

Another vote for Star Fox!

Also wish the wii u would get one triple-a vertical/side scrolling shootemup. The genre is dying, latest Gradius was promising but you need easy-mode (like Mario Kart 50cc difficulty) to strike all shootemup fans, even those who's reflexes are getting a bit slow. A great sci-fi universe, strong cast of characters and non-linear game progression like Star Fox Snes, different ships with different handling/speed/weapons and strong settings ... Xevoius infested earth rather than space-junk-metall-bio-blob levels... It could be epic if done right, I think every platform deserves at least one state of the art scroller!
