Topic: Disney Infinity

The trailer has finally made its debut! So what do you guys think? I personally am very excited!

I stopped watching seven seconds in then they revealed the toys. Hope it's good for those who are into that.

I did, I clicked play. Sorry, but anything that's going to require additional add-ons and/or fill my house with clutter is just a no-go for me. As I say, I hope for you and anyone else who's interested that it's good.

I like it, but the toys aspect means I won't be buying. Too bad.

Great concept!... the toy idea ruins it though.

My guess is they will eventually add Muppets. If the game reviews well enough, that is enough for me to buy it alone.

I wonder if Star Wars and Marvel will also eventually get wrapped in?

This will no doubt make loads of money for Disney.

The game looks incredibly interesting,but the whole figure collecting thing is going to be quite expensive.
And considering the starter bundles will be £64.99,that is quite a steep price.

Brilliant move by Disney, and I like the idea of tying collectibles in with video game experiences.

Now if only Wizards of the Coast would hurry up and do that with Magic the Gathering or Dungeons and Dragons.

I hope that they can deliver with this game. This easily has a massive potential to be better than Skylanders, more lengthy, more immersive, and more beautiful, and I think that Disney will at least care about the first of the Infinity games as opposed to my feeling that Activision just "use" Toys For Bob. I don't know if I'll be able to afford both at once, though. I'll definetly keep an eye on this and decide wether I want to get it or not from there- I just need to know more about it in general(I'm especially excited for details on the worlds thing). I wonder how many characters there are going to be. I'll probably be grabbing the standard doohickey and a few I'm farmiliar and fond with. Another good thing is that this will certainly introduce me to other characters' series I've missed out on.
One more question...
Can we play as Kovu?

It's a neat concept. Not a game I'd buy, but with Disney's brand recognition and well loved characters, this looks it'll definitely do better than Skylanders.

And the gameplay looks better as well.

The Toy idea works for skylanders, which i quite enjoy, but i don't see it working to well with this. I wouldn't want to buy additional figures of disney characters. If it weren't for the figures i would be more interested.

Disney has entire shops dedicated to selling toys and other goods, and those shops are incredibly popular.

I can't see this being anything but a mega-hit.

If they're able to work in some of the LucasFilm & Marvel characters, I wonder if they'd be able to work out a deal with Square Enix to include Kingdom Hearts characters?

Probably not, though, as if they were to do that, KH would pretty much be obsolete (it would be neat if they could include some KH costumes for Mickey, Donald, and Goofy, in the very least, even as DLC).

Lol at people thinking this won't be a success.
