If they're able to work in some of the LucasFilm & Marvel characters, I wonder if they'd be able to work out a deal with Square Enix to include Kingdom Hearts characters?

Probably not, though, as if they were to do that, KH would pretty much be obsolete (it would be neat if they could include some KH costumes for Mickey, Donald, and Goofy, in the very least, even as DLC).

I wasn't doubting that it won't sell well, I was/am doubting that it will be any good.

The only thing that really bothers me about the layout are the tokens. I don't like the idea of having to take off the character on top of them and I also think that could be a bit wobbly. (Though I do think that getting to use a cast of abilities on all your characters is cooler than just buying upgrades...)

Good as what? A game? Who cares? It's the toys that are important.

So guys, anyone else watch the press conference for the game? Have a look. I don't remember at which point it does begin, but when they show off all the gameplay, it looks really cool and does a better job than the trailer in convincing you. It looks like this game is going to have a load of stuff to do in each playset. Heck, I'm sold because I get to play as Ralph outside of that okay sidescroller, but the fact the rest of the game is looking so great is really making me genuinely excited for this(but I'm still a bit cautious because Spyro's Kingdom AKA Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure was nothing but a short, plain disappointment).

I saw the trailer for this yesterday, my dad showed me it. It looks neat. The scheme does seem similar to that of Skylanders. I did see some pretty Disney character choices: Jack from Pirates of the Carribean, Sullen from Monsters Inc., Mr. Incredible from the Incredibles, Buzz and Woody from Toy Story, and even Ralph from Wreck-It-Ralph (Yes!) I'll look forward to this!

I analysed the trailer quite well. And I found that in 1:51 (Post 1) and in 25:00 (Post 27) shows a screen that looks like something you would see from Tron. That seems interesting.

The prices for the game and toys are steep, but I'm not likely to collect all the figurines anyway. After the $75 dump when buying the Wii U version, I would likely only get figurines of my favorite characters revealed so far like Wreck-It Ralph. I'm hoping the prices for the worlds won't be so bad if they're for a pack of three and not individually. I have other games to get too.

Anyway, I've been having trouble posting a couple of screenshots lately, so I'll go ahead and tell you all that Vanellope from Wreck-It Ralph and Frankenweenie are in the game. That means that the most recent Disney films will get representation in the game, so I expect to see Brave and eventually Frozen characters in the future.

i pre ordred the starter pack for wii u plus every figure thats up for pre order so i got 10 figures coming in june =D

it looks so much better than skylanders all the sky landers toys add is a charicter but from what i hear the Disney ones adds up 6 hours of new story plus a ton of other things below is some gamplay from each of the first 3 playsets they should damn well have frozone in there haha

For those of you interested in the game, a Skylanders collector has made a Disney Infinity discussion forum/site. I already joined, and if you haven't already and are looking forward to the game, I would recommend that you keep an eye on that place.

I'm interested in this game, but with so many Nintendo games releasing this year and especially in the summer, this really makes me iffy about getting it so soon. It might just have to wait, but at least more characters and worlds will become available as time passes.

I find this really fascinating, and if I had a fat wallet I'd probably buy it, AND I have no doubt this will be a huge success, assuming they do it right. BUT this entire thing just screams cash cow. But hey, the point of a business is to make money, so what can I say.

Good news, everybody(actually interested in the game)! The owner of the fan forum went to the actual conference if I believe right and he confirmed this-

each play set will have 1 location piece and 2 characters.

I really need to stop making myself so excited for this game. I mean, it could potentially be just mediocre like Spyro's Adventure was. D:

I can see Rapunzel, Merida, Kermit the Frog, Dumbo, Peter Pan, and Nemo in there. If there's going to be Muppets in the game, then that might increase the odds of Marvel and Star Wars getting in.

I don't see Kermit in the image. I can see Bolt though.
