Bungie didn't actually say they won't release Destiny for the PlayStation Vita. They just said that "Destiny of Spirits" poster is a fake and has nothing to do with them. That's different than saying they won't release the game for the PlayStation Vita.
This means the prospects for Destiny appearing on the PlayStation Vita and Wii U is no different now than it was at any point prior.
@Tainy there was a picture of the Destiny logo mixed with the U in Wii U but Bungie didn't discredit that picture... I might be over hopeful but Destiny is one 3rd party title that is important to me.

Rumors make what truthful? I am just asking if it is a good sign that they discredited those "Destiny of Sprites" Vita Rumors but haven't discredited the Wii U rumors.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.

Oh I know. Bungie is among my favorite developers, and this is the first game Jason Jones has lead development on since Halo 2 (I liked Halo 3, but since then I've found Halo to be lacking). I'm really looking forward to Destiny.
I do still think there is a chance Destiny will release on the Wii U at some point. Neither Activision nor Bungie seems to have an aversion for Nintendo (unlike EA and some other companies). I think they'd ultimately like to release their game on the Wii U and other platforms but Bungie doesn't want to stretch themselves beyond their capacity. It's important to keep in mind they've been working exclusively with the Xbox for over a decade. This is the first time Bungie has worked on other platforms in a long time. Focusing on just one other platform, the PlayStation, might be the smartest thing for them at this point it time.
