Its an Older Interview from july explaining how they got the game running on Wii U. They had a Demo up and running in acouple of weeks for Nintendo but it was decided not be shown at the show.
Now i'm wondering and why Nintendo decided to scrap the Third Party stuff. I'm guessing it wan't as polished as they wanted or time constraint because of the Zelda event.

Darksiders II had an actual working demo perfectly ready for presentation at E3... and then Nintendo just decides not to show it? See, now, this is why people are having doubts on the capabilities of the Wii U. There are good games and demos to show and prove this wrong, and we get nothing. It's preposterous.
Maybe Nintendo doesn't want to show off too much until they have the system actually ready and the graphics are up to snuff. Remember: Reggie said that the Wii U Tech Demo shown off at E3 was only A very early demonstration of what the Wii U can actually do. Once the Wii U is complete and they have everything ready to go is when I expect to see some of that actual game demo goodness so that Nintendo can really separate themselves from the competition and so people can really distinguish Wii U from from the competition. As it stands that Darksiders Demo was gonna look like it did on PS3 and not how the Wii U can actually make it look.
Think of it like this: We were basically gonna get EXACTLY THE SAME THING but on the Wii U where the only basic difference would be that we would be playing it with a different controller which is, in my opinion, not too much of a good Idea.

We won't start to see stuff like that till the end of the gen even given time to next E3. That's like asking gears 1 and uncharted 1 to look like gears and uncharted 3 at launch.
Still that zelda demo is one of the best looking things i've seen.
