Topic: Can't go back in the initial set up?

So I got to the part where I tried to connect to my internet. I believe I put the wrong password in so the connection failed. I then could not find a place to reinput the password. Simply wasn't a place to do it, it seemed. So I thought, OK skip this and when I get to the main dashboard I will go fix it. Nope, now I am at the part where I need to add my Nintendo Netowork ID and it says I need to check my internet connection and tells me how to do it, but tells me how to do it as if I could access the dash. Which I can't. Tried power cycling the console, but it comes right back up on the same spot.

I know I am missing something and will feel stupid, but any help on this one? lol

EDIT: Should I pick "Add New User" instead of "Add User from an Existing Nintendo Network ID"? I assume I need the second one as I have one on my 3DS.

EDIT: I just picked the first option. System updating now. I am hoping that this doesn't mess up my linkage of my account from my 3DS.

You don't have to link a NNID when you create an account, nor do you have to connect to the Internet at initial set-up. The main thing you shouldn't do is panic because there are ways to fix these things

Yep, I did panic. I am good now. She is all set up and I played about an hour of Super Mario 3D world last night. Downloaded some demos, which I will play today and got myself antiquated with the system. Today I am looking forward to Wind Waker and Monster Hunter 3 and playing those demos.
