Wow, that prototype is looking great! The pledges are speeding up a bunch! Its already almost at Voice Mumble! @Defhalan Yup, you were definitely right.

I believe they've personally voiced their want to release to Wii U.
And with the indie support Nintendo is currently offering to developers it's quite possible that we may see this game appearing onto the eShop sometime in 2014
Here's hoping! Anyone know whether they've gotten their developer's license yet? (The Armikrog / Neverhood crew got theirs just the other day, so Nintendo's definitely reaching out to the market.) If so, the next hurdle is gathering the money for a Wii U developer's kit.
Ever play The Neverhood, Skullmonkeys, or Earthworm Jim? Their creators are making a new point-and-click, claymation adventure game called Armikrog, coming to Wii U, PC, Mac, and Linux! But first we must support their Kickstarter by June 27!

I believe NOA (Nintendo Of America) has voiced an interest in their project,
So I'm assuming it's going to be pretty likely that we will see this arrive on the Wii-U at some point in 2014.
Hopefully with the full Multiplayer component included as well
Though now they have their "Grant's Music Madness" occurring,
Where every $15,000 after $200,000 Grant Kirkhope will script up another unique soundtrack to be implemented into the game
Also,
For you potential Space Butterfly/IndieStatik fans out there,
Jesse Cox and Josh Mattingly recently released their latest Greenlight video.
Which happens to give a neat 20Min insight into "A Hat In Time",
So be sure to give that a quick look if you're interested Haha:
In light of recent events,
"A Hat In Time" has now been greenlit for Steam, which will be available for both Windows + Mac
And preorders are now available at their store for their future Alpha/Beta/Final builds of the game, Enjoy!: http://hatintime.com/preorder/
The Wii U Version has been confirmed.
And is currently scheduled to release sometime in late 2013/early 2014.
This is a 100% confirmation. Nintendo has even personally expressed their interest in the game

Their Kickstarter still states they are looking for a publisher for the Wii U one. Do you have a source? I would love a confirmation
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

In other (quite) exciting news,
Their latest Commentary (And a peek at Chapter Two) just arrived:
Though they also happened to recently release an image of their "physical" boxset,
Which happens to have a lovely N64-like feel to it, adequately retro really.
So do enjoy, because it's all sorts of wonderful
ohhh that is awesome!
i saw a gameplay video with commentary of this on IGN a few weeks ago and it looked pretty interesting. Games now just don't have that kind of charm that games like Banjo Kazooie had back in the 90s so I'm looking for to this game. I haven't gotten a Wii U yet, but when I do this will definitely be in my gaming library.
So, Slightly awkward confession here.
I was under the impression it had been confirmed. And that I did have a source.
And turns out that was all merely a hallucination, So I'm just going to have to awkwardly change that "100% Confirmation" to a . . . 25% Confirmation?
(Though there is interest from both developers/Nintendo in getting it onto the Wii U system)
@Tuurtledove
I really hope it comes to Wii U. I guess it would be ok just on PC but I think it would be so much better on Wii U. I hope we can get a 100% confirmation soon
