Topic: Your favourite VC Sonic game

So...

Which one of these Sonic games on the VC do you like most?

Sonic 1 (Megadrive/Genesis)
Sonic 2 (Megadrive/Genesis)
Sonic 3 (Megadrive/Genesis)
Sonic Spinball (Megadrive/Genesis)
Sonic 3D Blast: Flickies' Island (Megadrive/Genesis)

I have a soft spot for Sonic 1 on the SMS. I think the zones are cool and the music is excellent. I've played the Megadrive version on the iPod (I actually had the patience to collect all emeralds and finish by quitting when it didn't work) and on the GameCube, but I didn't like it as much. Infact, I got the iPod version expecting the SMS version.

One thing I've noticed about the Master System version: the labyrinth music is so cool and dark and mysterious, whereas it sounds a bit too jolly on the Megadrive version, despite the fact that it's such a deathtrap!

I've got Sonic 2 on the Master System. It's good, it's faster and its got better graphics. But the level design is so mean!

I haven't played Sonic Chaos, but from what I've seen, it's not very impressive.

I've played Sonic 3 on the GameCube, but I found it a bit frustrating, especially when Tails tries to defeat Robotnik on that marble garden/ruins level (can't quite remember) and when the glitch on Ice Cap zone forces you to lose a life.

If Sonic 3 & Knuckles was on the VC it would be my favorite. But unfortunately it's not on the VC.

Sonic 2 (16 bit) is my favourite

My favorite sonic games are S3&K and CD, since those aren't VC (Yet).
I'm going to Sonic 2, wich for me have the right balance in every aspect that it have.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for Master System. Like Corbie use to say: "is fantastic".

Even though Sonic and Knuckles is my all time favorite, I will have to say that Sonic 3 is one of my top games on the VC. Sonic 1 is a close 2nd, since it holds so much nostalgia. Also, I have Sonics Genesis Collection for PS3, so I don't actually play any of these on the VC, but I must say...for some odd reason, Sonic Blast 3D is a guilty pleasure of mine.
