Topic: Gunstar Heroes or Mega Man X

I just finished up Mega Man 2 (for the first time ever) and am working my way through MM3. I'm going to get MM9 and MM10 (along with some of the downloadable content - special stages, endless for 9, bass). I'll have 800 Wii Points left and was debating between Mega Man X and Gunstar Heroes.

I'm obviously a big fan of 8-bit Mega Man. I've never played X or Gunstar. Which is better?

Currently playing (perpetually): NHL 95, Mega Man 2 and Super Metroid

Personally I'd go with Mega Man X.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

X for single player, Gunstar if you want to play co-op.

They're both worth it, though.

Gunstar Heroes resembles the Mega Man X series. But Gunstar Heroes is more akin to the run-and-gun genre and games like Contra.

...in my pants.

For something different I would go with Gunstar... Mega Man gets tediously boring so you need to switch it up a bit

I think Gunstar Heroes is the better game, but I still like Mega Man X. it's your call

Megaman X is great. Gunstar Heroes is just not on the same level, not even close.

BTW Mega Man 9 is easily the best MM since 2.

Doesn't matter which the "best" is, Mega Man 7 gave me the most enjoyment out of the 10 classic Mega Man games. However, I've barely played MM6.

I've enjoyed playing Mega Man 3 and Mega Man 6 back in the day, particularly I liked Mega Man 7 style a lot more than Mega Man 8

Mega Man 2, 3, and 9 were by far my favorites.

Gunstar Heroes.
I like the bosses and levels more. And it seems faster and it's not so hard. Oh, and it has 2P co-op.
I wouldn't compare them as well, however, I just like the Gunstar-style more.
