Not sure about the best. I might give best to SMB3 but it's up there as one of the better titles in the series.

I do! I loved how weird it was. It really felt like the designers got to run with their ideas without anyone getting too much in the way.

I'd have to go with Galaxy first. SMW might be second though. Still haven't played Odyssey though.

I think that Super Mario World 2 is superior to all other Mario games. However, this game doesn't come into the Mario games canon anymore. Now, it is included into a class called "Yoshi games" that found it's high point exactly with this game.

Except of this, I also think that SMW is the best Mario game. However, I have very fond memories for the SNES era
