Last resort games? Got it. COD

the PC version of Halo 1 was my go-to game for a couple of years.

Sonic Generatiosn for the 360, Pokemon Gold, Megaman X, Crash Twinsanity, and Crash 3. I can play these games for ever.

main Pokemon series in general's a great example. I was done with the series after D/P and yet I played 150+ hours of SoulSilver. I'm sure in like a year or 2 I'll get Black or White think "eh who cares"...and end up putting days of my life into the game.

Wii - Monster Hunter Tri, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Xenoblade Chronicles, Skyward Sword, La Mulana, Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3, Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn, Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2.

3DS/DS - Kid Icarus Uprising, Mario Kart 7, Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, Advance Wars: Days of Ruin, Infinite Space, Metroid Prime:Hunters, New Super Mario Bros.

Gamecube - Metroid Prime 1 & 2, Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes, F-Zero GX, Wind Waker, Super Mario Sunshine, Fire Emblem Path of Radiance, Smash Bros. Melee.

N64 - Ocarina of Time, Perfect Dark, Turok 1 & 2, F-Zero X, Mario Kart 64, Bomberman 64 1 & 2, Super Smash Bros., Diddy Kong's Racing, Super Mario 64, Star Fox 64, Banjo Kazooie.

SNES - Super Mario World, SMW2: Yoshi's Island, EarthBound(Mother 2), Samurai Showdown, A Link to the Past, Donkey Kong Country 1,2 & 3, Star Fox, Super All Star Kirby, Super Mario RPG, Super Metroid, Contra III: The Alien War, Earthworm Jim, Megaman X 1 & 2, Megaman 7, SUPER Star Wars(All 3 of them), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time, X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse.

Golden Axe, Final Fantasy VI, and Minesweeper.

That's a great game. As good as Sonic Colors even.

Animal Crossing. Add up the play time of all three games and we have roughly 2000+ hours.

Sonic games on Genesis, mario games, SSBB, and the Mario Kart games are all ones that I can go to at anytime. But the two ones I go to the most are SSBB and any Mario Kart..

Super Mario Land - This Game may be the Black sheep of the Family, but every black sheep deserves some loving. I finished this game countless times throughout my entire life and the ending always brings a smile to my face. Sure it's dated as heck, but noting can break my nostalgia.

I'd list the rest as Yoshi's Island, Resident Evil 4, Classic Megaman and Megaman X.

I forgot to say OoT. I'm on my 11th playthrough in 4 years!

I'm going to go ahead and add PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale to my list. Just bought the Vita version recently and have been playing it non-stop. It's a game I can see myself going back to a lot. Like it almost as much as I liked SSB Melee.
