@rom... the calibration is super quick and super easy. Basically about the same as the hitting the A and B buttons on the Wii and then before you enter a major event such as chaning from Archery to Disc Golf you have to recalibrate and its a simple as holding the controller down, then up and then at your waist. Maybe 5 seconds or so. Its never bothered me a bit and Ive never seen any calibration problems while playing with it loosing its sync.

@billy... I played The Shoot demo and the pointer controls were so flippin accurate it was unreal. The game is shovelware at best, but the controls are spot on. With IR you have a little shutter when trying to hold the pointer still, you see it in every Wii onrails game, Move doesnt have that at all. Its super smooth and so quick its insane.

... I sound like Im knocking Wii and Im not. I could list games on and on that I simple adore on Wii, Im of course using the only real comparison we have with Move. I do think developers will now move onto Move to develop, especially third party developers as they already and always have had immense success on all Playstation consoles. Wii has already shown that we are looking at mainly first party support with the few exceptions (MH Tri is flippin awesome!) from here on out and I do think you will see the developers moving with more force into Move and Kinect.

This should be the Move title song. One of my favorite bands as well.

@NL team Just saw the ad on the homepage for Movemodo! I love how the words change every time! I should probably check Movemodo out more often.

No animals were harmed in the making of this post.

Really looking forward to the Racketball Sports review from you guys. Out of all the launch titles I notice while at Gamestop today that was the only one I'd picked up if I had money to get the Move (as well as a PS3) would have been that one. Any impressions on that one would be great!

Edit: @ movemodo mods
You guys have a release date for virtua Tennis 4 set for Nov. 30 2010 but everywhere else is saying 1st q 2011. Are you guys a little behind on that release date or something. I'm pretty sure this is under the US release date section.

Just really looking forward to that first awesome motion control tennis game to come out. 5 different sports games for 40 bucks seems like a good deal though.

Will someone be reviewing Lord of the Rings Aragorn's Quest for PS3? I am considering getting this game since I heard that it features Move controls. It would be great to see some impressions or a review of this game on Movemodo.

We will be reviewing every game that uses Move controls, so Aragorn's Quest is definitely going to be reviewed

@cheapo Thanks for the spot, edited now.

@Cheapogamer..... Well bad new for you man, Racquet Sports is a Wii port to Move and it plays exactly like a Wii port. In Sports Championships and Ping Pong it feels like the real thing being there and playing it, with Racquet Sports it controls just like Wii Tennis. You can definately feel that you motions are just enabling a button press. There is no fluidity in the controls and the accuracy of timing your shots to place them where you want them becomes little less than hitting the shot early or late with little to no more than that. Its lame and not worth the $10 less than other Move games available. Stick with Wii Sports Tennis, it puts it to shame.

This is truely a game that romulux described earlier. Move can be used very well with the technology, but if a developer want to do so can make the games just like a Wii game without efficent use of the technology. If you dont own a Wii then this could be a all right buy, but for all of us who own a Wii, it a HD port of a game that is not even as good as the original pack in Wii game, wich is a shame.

ign has a comparison of wii sports resort and sports champions: http://wii.ign.com/articles/112/1121699p1.html

ironically enough, the wii reviewer likes move better and the ps3 guy likes sports resort.

Owning both of these game I have to say that the final editor is dead on. Wii Resort is a blast and its easy to jump in and play for all ages and its a heck of a party title. Sports Championship is a much deeper and much harder game and its not exactly a party game at all. If your looking for fun, exciting multiplayer go with Wii Resort if your looking for a much deeper high technology experience that is closer to reality that just pure fun, go with Sports Championships.

In my person opinion on the subject, they are both incredible. They are at opposite ends of the spectrum technology wise, and one is more simulation and the other is more arcade value fun. Both are worth owning and neither one of the games will Ever leave my personal gaming collection.

@ SS82:
Hey thanks for the heads up about Racket Sports and the add info about the Move controller.

Guess I'll have to wait for Grand Slam Tennis or VT 4 to figure out when I'll be getting the PS3 Move bundle.

@Cheap.... no prob man, I hate shovelware and this is definatley in the realms of shovelware imo. There is no reason to waste money on games that dont use the Move controls properly and especially not waste money on Move games that are the same as on Wii when you can get the game on Wii for way cheaper.

@slapshot: Have you had a chance to try out Eyepet? I'm anxious to hear what you think of it. I saw the trophies list and it seems like there is a lot to do in this game.
