Going to watch Nintendo's if I can.
At least NoA supports a current console I own.
(seriously S-E USA, why you no 3DS?! )

I really wish Square Enix would show the Wii U some more JRPG love, too. I mean... would it hurt to see how Final Fantasy X and X-2 remake would do on Wii U instead of just releasing it on yet ANOTHER Sony platform alone?!

I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

But then they aren't able to increase their budget to ridiculous amounts that they won't be able to make back. Porting it on the Wii U without any upgrades would be to easy and possibly profitable for them, so why would they do that?

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

It just isn't fair and doesn't make sense to me. Square Enix could be enjoying a loyal Final Fantasy loving fanbase on Wii U right now if they actually tried to grow and nurture it. Is the FF X and X-2 remake so hard that it can't even come to Wii U? Instead, Square Enix rather put it on YET another Sony platform. Its hit PS Vita, PS3 and now PS4. The same freaking remake.Just give the Wii U a chance with a JRPG, jeez. Nintendo can handle the advertising in a direct and stuff.

I bet Square could get a good following with kingdom Hearts on Nintendo systems, but they are to worried about making the H-est HD graphics they can. If they just focused on a port, no upgrades, it would probably be easy enough to bring it to Wii U and make a Profit.

Exactly!!!! And then if the NX comes out and Square Enix finally throws a Final Fantasy port on there... how can they be surprised if sales are bad for the port when they didn't even try to establish a fanbase with the previous console?!?!?

I'm surprised that SE isn't supporting the 3DS more. I mean, no DQ titles in the west(yet anyway), they were too scared to localize BD and none of the Gameboy FF titles? I see no reason to be hesitant to support the 3DS with a large install base and a good chunk of said install base being JRPG fans.

I think at this point when they say that they want to bring a game to the west, but aren't sure if it will do well, they really mean "We want Nintendo to localize it for us". This especially applies to Bravely Second.
