This is for all those games you could remember wanting as a kid but never got to get.
I remember as a wee lad always wanting Secret of Mana, Earthbound, Killer Instinct, Tobal No.1, Tomba!, Brave Fencer Musashi, Parasite Eve, Loaded and Reloaded, The Neverhood and Skull Monkeys, and Wild 9.
Most stem from when I would flip through the pages of GamePro and want them so bad but being so young I had to rely on parents to buy my games. Sadly I missed out on everything I listed.
Send me the best you've got. Send me your strongest machines. The fight my brother fought, here, now, will end with me.
We had a thread like this ages ago, I'll see if I can find it and copy and paste my answer since it probably hasn't changed. Until then right now I'd say Spyro 3 and Grim Grimoire. However, I intend to change that in a few weeks.
Well with being a newer member and no search feature in the forums, it's impossible to find them. Sorry. I only played the demo of Spyro very fun back in the day.
Kingdom Hearts. I used to visit my cousin every thanksgiving, and one time she let me play it for the whole weekend. Since there had to be some family interaction, there was little time for me to play, so i only got to traverse town the second time. Ever since then (its been many years) Ive wanted to play it but never had a PS2. Maybe one day ill get one. Kingdom Hearts is a great game.
Tomb Raider is one I never got to play, since I never had a PlayStation. I finally got to play its updated version when I got Tomb Raider Anniversary for PS2, and it was a great game.
Hmmm....None that I can think of. I pretty much own any game I've ever wanted to own.
Look, a wild spoiled brat appeared!
/me throws Poké Ball j/k
When I was little, I didn't know it was possible to "buy" games, because I had a selection picked out for me when I got my SNES. I id know, however, that my cousin got a N64 at some point, and I didn't get one until a couple of years ago.
When I was little I only really wanted what I played at friends' houses, which wasn't much, so I usually got it for presents and stuff. Then, by the time I started realising there were other games aside from games that featured Mario, games based on TV Shows/Movies I had seen (which I soon realized mostly sucked), and sports games (which I don't really like as much anymore, at least the realistic ones), I was capable of buying them on my own. And I did. So yeah.

You missed out on the PS2!? That makes me sad.

No, I didn't miss out on the PS2, just the PlayStation, since I had a SNES and N64 as a kid. I had a roommate who had a PS2 in college, while I had a Gamecube, so I played his PS2 a lot until I bought my own.

None that I can think of right off the top of my head. Their were many of games and systems that I wish I could have own as a little one though. I think I really got lucky because I had a lot of friends that owned the games that I wanted to play. If not for that then I would have only gamed on a Gameboy until about 97 or so when I finally got a SNES. Now that I think about it maybe that was one of my main goals for trying to be friends with everyone back then. They ALWAYS had games I'd never had a chance to play other wise.
Edit: after playing a friends copy of Mortal Kombat on the GameGear I pick up a copy of the GB version and still can't get over how awful the GB version was compared to the GG.
Also, after following in love with MKII for the SNES later on I picked up my on copy of MKII for the GB which turned out to be o.k. but because of the no color factor I'd have trade that version for the GG original MK version any day.
That is pretty funny Mysterio! I honestly cannot remember any games I had wanted.
