@OorWullie - This came up a while back with me about Nintendo's own Wii U ports to Switch and what that potentially mean for other companies to treat it the same way. After a joke about Resident Evil 4, Zack & Wiki immediately came up.
I would LOVE a port of Gal Gun: Double Peace that used the gyro controls in the right joycon to aim the gun. Although, I'd still be happy if it just had the normal controls in the Vita and PS4 versions. I mainly just want a portable version of the game that isn't plagued with performance issues.
My wishes :
1. Animal Crossing Switch
2. The Sims 4
3. Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age
4. Any Rhythm games from Konami or SEGA
5. Mii games for Switch
6. Bokujou Monogatari for Switch
7. Mario Kart 9
8. Cartoonish Boxing games
9. Any girlie games in HD such as Style Savvy series or Imagine series
10. Portal Knights in Physical cartridge
Oh, I forgot: I REALLY want a new Peggle game on the Switch.
@MegaTen SM3DW is a great game, but I have issues replaying the same content over and over on stationary platforms. It's the reason I'm not excited for MH World on PS4. Grinding is great on portables, because you can kind of incorporate it into your downtime and when you're watching TV. If I have to sit in some special shrine to play a game, though, I don't want to play the levels over and over with different characters. This is the reason I 100% completed SM3DL but never fully completed 3D World.
And yeah, REmake HD on Switch needs to happen. Both because of the portability and because the game belongs on a Nintendo platform.
I played Turrican 3 so many times it was so incredibly exciting, its music, its pace, the action, I would really love something similar on Switch! But I didn't like other games in the series. I'd like a sequel of Turrican 3.
I would like an Animal crossing game similar to the first one for the Gamecube (it is my favourite) but with more customization options (placing your drawings inside your home) and no penalties if you don't play for too long (no messed up hair, no messed up grass in the village, no bugs inside your home)
I am a big fan of Eternal darkness and I would want a remake or even just a simple port but I would not want a sequel, I don't think a sequel could do any good to the story of the game
@GrailUK - I miss some good Monkey Ball as well, since Amusement Vision is gone I fear we won't see the good times it once was. Perhaps a remaster of the original three in one game would suffice, though. With added (optional) tilt controls.
@GrailUK Despite being one of my favourite series it hasn't been any good since the Gamecube days. VC is probably the only good option but I don't know if SEGA would bother as they seem to rerelease old games at a high price instead...
@GrailUK - Maybe. But if they kept the consistency of the original three, update its fidelity and add minor content additions, I can see it being released again by SEGA. A VC port would make three games seperate and priced accordingly.
If SEGA were to add a few features, like 8-player LAN racing and a world or two, I would likely buy it at full price.
Wii Sports Resort Club
I wanna play Bowling, Table Tennis, and Archery with my friends on a sunny day in the park with my new Joycons. I imagine this would be super fun and attract people to join our little tabletop party. ^^
My most wanted Switch games by Nintendo are a new Animal Crossing, a new Endless Ocean 3 from Arika (those are 2 underrated Wii gems), the EarthBound Collection (especially for a translated official Mother 3), Excite Truck 2 from Monster Games (I'd be so into that!), Original Zelda 2 Remake (the Zelda game that needs a remake the most),a new Itadaki Street / FortuneStreet / BoomStreet / StraßenDesGlücks game, Chibi-Robo! as in "Plug In Adventure" and "Park Patrol", and translated HD versions of Giftpia, Cubivore, Snowpack Park and Captain Rainbow.
As for already announced ones, police and gangster games draw me in lately, with This Is The Police, The Escapists 2, and Payday 2 being very high on my list. The Wii U was lacking on that front, so I see where my hunger for those types of games come from.
From Japan I want some of the exclusives coming to the west. I'm looking for something different to play than what I'm used to, and Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII and Nobunaga's Ambition are ones that I always deemed too deep, overwhelming, and too time consuming, but nowadays I'm more into that, taking some time off in the evening for an hour or two and spend some time on one deep experience than buying 10 smaller games for the same price. Those huge games coming on tiny cartridges makes them even more valuable and collectable, practical and appealing to me. I also want all those RPGs, the Dragon Quests, the detective games, the Secret of Mana Collection.
Tomb Raider,
Maiden,
Plants vs Zombies,
LoL,
Football Manager,
CoD (Best off - play up the handheld angle),
KotOR,
X Wing,
Versions of Hobby games,
WoW,
40k,
some MMoRPG's.
Switch games list,
Legend of Zelda BotW, Human resource machine, NBA Playgrounds, Street Fighter 2, Super Bomberman R, Snipperclips, Overcooked, World of Goo.
Mainline Pokémon game announced at E3
Super Smash Bros for Switch
Phantasy Star Online (any version would be fine with me)
Dragon Quest X
Bayonetta 2 (or 3 if its actually a thing)
Dragonball Z Rising Blast (or Budokai Tenkaichi 3)
Rain World
Kirby: Return to Dreamland
Dragons Dogma
Never take anything I say seriously. S'all you buddy. ;)
Mainly play on my Switch but I have 3DS, Wii U and PS4 as well.
Fave game series include: Pokemon, Smash Bros, Splatoon, Disgaea, Bayonetta, Dragons Dogma, Phantasy Star & Arena of Valor.
This is a bit of an unorthodox choice, but I played a Worms game at my friend's house a few weeks ago, and I think that would be well-suited to the Switch.
