I'm still on Pikmin 2. The first half of the game was fairly easy, but it feels like it's just ramping up in difficulty now. This one cave I'm in is absolutely destroying my squad.

In Pikmin 1, does it trigger the bad ending if you get between 26-29 parts? I would assume you get the 25 part ending but I read online that it needs to be exact.

@DanijoEX It's so weird that this part of the game is considered "post-game", given that it felt more like the ending was a fake ending. Especially because there was no final boss.

Now that Pikmin 1+2 are out physically, I wanted to ask a quick question to anyone who's picked it up: how does the physical version work exactly? Does it give you two separate carts (one for each game)? Are both on a single cart? Is the physical version a download code? Is it something else entirely? As someone who has the physical version as their current preferred method of grabbing 1+2 myself, I'm just a bit curious is all 🤔

I'm playing Pikmin 2 and have a question about when I take a huge loss in a cave. What's the easiest way for me to bail without saving the loss of Pikmin?
So far, I've just been going to the home menu, closing out the whole game, and then booting up the game again and loading my file, but that's a bit tedious. It's nice that it takes me back to the same floor I was on, but is there a faster way?
