What n64 cult classics do you want to see on the service? And you can’t say games that everyone knows of like 007 or diddy Kong racing. Examples are hybrid heaven Glover and the like.
@Rivisio does that even count as a cult classic? I’m talking about games that people barely know about. And I’m pretty sure loads of people know of perfect dark.
@Greatluigi Actually a Cult Classic is an item that people didn't know or didn't sell well on its initial release but has a big following now and has made its money back on subsequent releases.
For example Cult Classic Movies
A Clockwork Orange
Rocky Horro Picture Show
Donnie Darko
Scott Pilgrim VS The World
Highlander
So yeah Perfect Dark has a huge following now but didn't on its first release, so that's the very definition of a Cult classic.

Always loved that game since it came out. Would have stacks of fun with it playing multiplayer! Still have it on N64 but would be cool to play online - make it happen Nintendo!!
All of the AKI Corp-developed wrastlin' games are terrific.
WCW vs NWO
WWF Wrestlemania 2000
WWF No Mercy
But none of the three are likely to be released on NSO, too many licensing hurdles.
Switch Physical Collection - 1,251 games (as of April 24th, 2024)

The ones that everyone knew and bought are:
1. GoldenEye
2. Banjo-Kazooie
3. Diddy Kong Racing
4. Perfect Dark
5. Banjo-Tooie
6. Donkey Kong 64
7. Killer Instinct Gold
The cult classics are:
8. Conker's Bad Fur Day
9. Jet Force Gemini
10. Blast Corps
and the licensed one
11. Mickey's Speedway USA
(everyone knows Mickey Mouse)
So yeah, only 8, 9, and 10 are in that category. The rest were selling great and some of the most popular games on the system.
I think games like Mischief Makers, the Mystical Ninja games, Body Harvest, Space Station Silicon Valley, Hybrid Heaven, Tetrisphere, and Wetrix are an inch too popular. They're all pretty good though.
For me cult classics are along the lines of Snowboard Kids 1 & 2, Aydin Chronicles: The First Mage, Rocket: Robot on Wheels, maybe StarCraft 64, Shadowgate 64, Worms Armageddon, Gauntlet Legends, and Hexen.
Yup, Hexen 64 was the first 4 player co-op storymode splitscreen game, like, ever. So that's one thing it had going for it. Quite an experience back in 1997.
And Aydin Chronicles was the first openworld RPG I ever played. I think there's no N64 game with a bigger world. The entirety of Body Harvest may come close.

With the possible exception of Tetrisphere (because y'know...Tetris), I'd bet money none of these are as popular as Conker's Bad Fur Day.
@SKTTR to be honest, the N64 era finished 20 years ago and - over it’s lifetime - it sold less than 35 million units. More people own Mario Kart 8 alone than ever owned an N64.
Basically anything beyond the real smash hits on N64 is a “cult classic”. So that’s Mario 64, the Zelda games, Goldeneye and a handful of other mostly first party games. Everything else is “cult”.
Of course there are degrees of “cult”. Blast Corps for instance is definitely “cult” but most enthusiasts of the N64 have probably played it. Something like Rocket Robot on Wheels, Glover or Aiden Chronicles is likely to be relatively obscure even to the majority of people on a forum like this.
