@Vee_Flames I think the rumble feels good it's just too much. Every speech bubble and goose quack doesn't need a rumble. The problem is it's either on or off and I like mine on.

Hey all, am I doing something wrong, I am on Cheekybeak Peak and I am returning the eggs to the coloured birds, but I can't give back the red ones? The red birds are quite far away to the left and I get the eggs in the coloured circle, the bird picks it up but it just then pans back to my character but it doesnt register that it's done. Is this a known problem? Not sure what to do, I have save and exited and gone back in and no joy. I cannot continue without doing this

For whatever reason I've always liked golf games. I dislike sports and especially sports games, but golf games I always found fun. This game is no exception! Wonderful title and for $15 it's a must buy.

Anyone else struggling with the feed ten fish request from the caveman guy in lurkers valley??

I can only find 9 of the white plant things you feed to the fish. I've found 4 in the opening area near and around the entrance sign. 3 on course 5 all easily visible and two more near course 3 but I can't for the life of me find the 10th plant thing.

@LockdownTF I think there's more then 10 actually but I could be wrong. I had no problem with them but I hope you find it soon.

@Spoony_Tech I've checked and rechecked and can definitely only find 9. even restarted to no avail. do any of them respawn after you've used them?

it really is the perfect mixed baby of Earthbound and Mario Golf. Maybe the best Nindie on the system.

I am enjoying it a lot so far. But I have run into a few bugs. I managed to break and half crash the game in the Welworn mini golf building. The game didn't fully crash, but the ball got stuck and then I was unable to move or do anything. In that same location I got glitched so my golfer and the ball were floating above the course. Also in that location the "save and quit" did not work. I beat the course, talked to the guy, then saved and quit. When I loaded the game back up I had to play that event again, even watch the cut scene as the scientists argued again. Actually all of the bugs, and the only bugs I have had have been in that building.

Otherwise I find the game quite fun. Which surprised me a lot, since I normally have zero interest in sports or golf in particular.

@Heavyarms55 I also got the weird glitch in the mini golf building where the golfball floated in the air... @LockdownTF You have to go to the area beside the main one. There were 9 in the main area but more of the feed in the lake area beside

Not ran into too many glitches or bugs myself but main problem I find is that for most of the challenges and courses there is no option to restart the trial/course when you're having a bad game thus you have to either finish it despite knowing you've already lost or reset the game. Hope they patch it soon, it's rather a pain.

Also I'm stuck in the old people area where I have to find the 4 antique clubs, anyone past this section yet? I just need to find 1 more..

Does anybody know where I can find the old wood club. It's the only one I'm missing and I've been looking for a while.

Hi guys. Since this is general topic for Golf Story, I want to ask: when the game actually saves?
I mean, there is option "Save and quit" but it not always saves my progress...
When I entered new arena it was saved. But then I played for half hour and every progress I made was lost. It is a bit frustrating and I feel discouraged to play anymore, because I am not sure if the game will save.

Does anyone know how long the story is for this game?

@Scrummer It's longer then I thought it would be. Can't tell you how long I've been playing yet as the Switch only says 8 days ago but I can say it's been over 20 hours and I'm still not done. Maybe another 5 hours or so to go so 25 to 30 hours total.

I finished it in under 20 hours while completing most side challenges too and got to level 35. Sadly there's not much going for it with regards to post game content which is slightly disappointing but oh well.

@Felly Yeah, other then local matches I don't see much replay value but I'm ok with that. Too many games to play and once done I can move on. Perhaps I'm not over 20 hours then.

Edit: Nope, I am just over 20 hour but I have to be honest I have set the system down numerous times and left it running. Maybe 2 or more hours combined.

@Spoony_Tech @Felly Okay, thanks. I don't really care TOO much about length, but I don't want to spend $15 on a 2 hour experience. I just want to make sure I would get a fairly lengthy play time.

I was concerned about its longevity too before buying it, but having put in a good few hours now and I've enjoyed every minute of it - it's definitely worth the price of the game.

Sure, it's got glitches and bugs, the sound/music is limited (is that a rip from Fire Emblem BTW?) and the graphics are very early16bit, but it's the game that counts and it has gameplay in spades. If you like golf games or rpgs (and it really IS a RPG) you'll enjoy it. If you like both, then get in there!

I hope I never see the word Galf ever again. First of all the games suck, second it just sounds so stupid lol.

Just beat the game a bit ago. Took about 20 hours but that was a wonderful 20 hours. Encountered a few bugs but nothing that caused me to lose data or time. Now it's back to Steamworld Dig 2!
