Topic: Games that you want that could run on Switch(Third parties)

It depends on what Nintendo decides to do. The Switch Pro is reported to be a marginal upgrade, probably going from a Tegra X1 chipset in the current Switch to a Tegra X2. Better memory bandwidth, more onboard RAM, etc. But the next piece of hardware coming after Switch Pro could certainly use a Tegra Xavier chip, which can encode and decode 8k visuals.

I would love all 3 on Switch. Loved the first 2 on Dreamcast.

well they got The Witcher 3 to run on the Switch so i would say it should be able to run FINAL FANTASY XV and the FFXIII Trilogy too

COD easily. I know it could work. But I guess it doesn’t make “business” sense for Activision. It’s the one game I want on the switch really does suck.

Madden and NHL. Guessing it ain't happening. EA is idiotic. NHL might not sell nearly as well, but Madden would for sure.

I think that with some compromises the Switch could run most games, the only ones it couldn't use odd game engines.

The problem is more the size of the games, as there's no way to fit a 100GB game on a cartridge.

There isn't much that excites me on Xbox/PS, but I wouldn't mind playing maybe Dead Or Alive 6, Injustice 2 or the Dishonored games on the Switch.

I'll be honest, Cyberpunk is one of those games that looks amazing...if it weren't for one thing.

I feel like being first person has robbed so much of my excitement for the game. The gameplay looks less fun, I can't appreciate the environments half as much. It effectively goes from a Hype level of 9 to a 3. Here's hoping they give the game a 3rd person mode.

Sorry but that's been ruled out by CDPR.... I don't usually like 1st player, either.

@BruceCM They say it's for immersion, but frankly I find first person to be horribly immersion breaking. In the real world I don't see things confined in a 16:9 square. There is a 120-160° view in front of me. 1st person, even if it didn't make me dizzy every time the camera turned, is the uncanny valley of immersion for me.

Eh, I just prefer looking at the back of my character... Which is why I surprisingly go for girls, when there's a choice

Halo: mcc all the games in it are relatively old. The biggest problem with them porting this is that it will probably never happen but. I can dream about it.

i mean there probably is but i've not heard of it clearly :V

On a more serious note, arguably the only game I care about that I actively don't think should be on Switch is Nier Automata, because I can't see it being ported while still keeping that 60 FPS framerate, which is a cruel thing to do to a Platinum game in particular. I guess maybe that Transformers game they made too, since that's also a next gen game from them that people liked. MAYBE DMC5?

Otherwise, put every game on Switch if it's good and people want it and you have good people porting it.
