I had the physical copy of The Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King but my son lost it. I bought the digital copy of The Disney Classic Games: The Jungle Book and MORE Aladdin Pack. I deleted the original physical game from my Switch but it won't seem to let me download my new game even though it shows I purchased it in the eShop.
@StormyGurl013 Sounds like quite a nasty bug, hmm? I wish I could help, but I've never even heard of this happening before. I highly suggest you call Nintendo Customer Service when it's lines are open for the day. Sorry for not being more helpful. 😑
@StormyGurl013 Game save data is stored on switch internal memeory, and the switch doesn't care which version of the game you use, digital or physical. I've never heard of anyone having a problem since switch launched. So, you're missing something simple somewhere. Like TowaHerschel7 said, call Nintendo support. Be ready to describe exactly what happens for troubleshooting, or write down the error code, if you get one. You can plug error codes into nintendo support search bar to see what they mean.
