Topic: Rotating balltop on arcade stick

Should the balltop on a Sanwa joystick be able to rotate, or does it need to be tightened? I know how to 'fix' it, but won't bother if it's not actually 'broken.' These types of controller might be old school, but it's all new to me.

I have a hori arcade stick for my 360 and the balltop also rotates. This way, you can keep a firm grip on it, even while you move the stick around I guess that it is also quite normal on your sanwa stick

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the tops of joysticks are generally meant to rotate.

Thanks. Knowing that should stop it distracting me now. I've ordered Hori's cheaper Wii stick too for multiplayer, so it'll be interesting to see how it compares.
