I must have released it to hard because after i did, the analog stick (left one) when limp and now is shifted completely left, like this picture shows http://www.imagebam.com/image/2761c482376959 . I dunno what to do, it wont reset to the middle and man im thinking this sucks so much. WHY!!!!!!! Anyone got an idea how to fix this? I cant rotate it a full 360 degrees without it make cracking noises....if that matters

Unfortunately it sounds like you might have to purchase a new DualShock controller. It looks as if the ball joint snapped off from the soldering from the PCB board itself. Unless you know how to solder correctly it would be in your best interest to pick up a new game pad. Those new controllers are very intricate with their boards, it's nothing alike to the older models for the previous systems. Very sorry to hear about that pal, I know those controllers are not cheap. Check to see if you can find a used game pad at EB Games, or GameStop. I find they are pretty fair about returns if they don't meet your expectations. Or even get a GameStop gamepad, I've had a great deal of success with their products. Picked up a 360 pad the other day, works with the Games For Windows driver pack so now I have a full functioning Games For Windows controller.

As 99er mentioned, it sounds bad for your controller. Buttons getting stuck is a pretty easy fix, but when the problem involves the analog stick it becomes quite a bit trickier to fix.

Haha i figured. I have bought a new one and at the moment this controller is unscrewed and in pieces. I fixed the stick on the pad thing but now i cant put it all back together because theres so many parts that are too hard to put back on. I might make it my summer project to put together this broken dualshock lol
