Topic: Why did my thread get locked?

I did not break any rules. I'm asian and made a thread stating that I find it questionable that asians are called "asian american" by many,

When it's ludicrous because I was born in Los Angeles and have no ties to my parent's country anymore. Whether a boring topic or not, it was a legitimate thread and I find it silly that it was locked.

I remember commenting on it. Maybe they was just afraid it would lead to trouble.

Mods use their best discretion when locking topics, and may often do so to avoid future problems that they see arising.
