Topic: Who is applying for the NL News Reporter position??

Just noticed the Ad on the home page requesting applicants for the position of Nintendo Life News Reporter and was wondering if anyone is going to apply for this position?

I personally would like to but would be unable to dedicate enough free time to the role so I will not be applying myself (Sorry people)

i would like to apply but the thing is that im not such good at obtaining information without taking it from another site. so a news reporter is not for me.

It is OK to take news from other sites if they get the information first, as long as credit is given to the site in question and the article is not just stolen from that site with no acknowledgement. However i imagine some time would need to be dedicated to scouring the Internet and other sources to make sure any news is delivered as soon as possible.

I applied, and sent an email to Corbie just in case my application did not go through.

Sounds appealing, but I don't really think a news reporter is the right position for me. I'd much rather prefer doing first impressions of new games or reviews of older games.

If it was for writing reviews, I'd be all over it. News, however, isn't my thing, so I'll pass this round.

I'm not speaking in any official capacity when I say this, but writing news for NL--and writing it well--is probably the best way to be considered for a reviewer spot when one does open up.

Hmmm....I may check it out then. I'm not entirely sure, as I don't know how well I'd do at news, but it can't hurt.
