My favorite Retro Video Game Store that's in my city ( I lived in Suffolk, VA which is near Norfolk, VA.) is OldSkool Video Games and more. (Yes, that's seriously the NAME of the store.) Old Skool is basically a small retro store, not too big, not too small, just small, but this retro store has great customer service IMO. The staff are friendly and nice, they're also cheap as well, and they can also Japanese games other than N.A. The only con for this store, are most of the games are trade-in. If they don't have a game you're looking for, just write in a binder or a booklet with your cell phone number (If you have one. lol) that says "Wish list" and they'll get it for you. Not only that but, they'll specialize the game you wrote on the wish list from what I heard. They're also located in Portsmouth, VA. They do have their facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/oldskoolvideogamesandmore
Lost Ark is the only retro game store I know of in the area but it's a nice place. Can find a lot of SNES/Genesis/Dreamcast gems and the arcade area is an awesome late night time waster.

G2K Games. There are a few of them scattered around but I have one about five minutes from my house. They have everything from Atari to Wii U games, all for reasonable prices. It's awesome!
