I've been thinking, which is quite unusual, that I want to play some rpg's. But I'm not sure what should I buy: Crisi Core: Final Fantasy VII (PSP) or The World Ends With You (DS) or something else. My platforms are DS Lite, PSP and Wii. And money is not a problem. Can you guys help me?

Well it depends on your preferences. I don't know about The World Ends with you but I have Crisis Core and I really don't like the fighting system. It is a mix between round based and real-time fight. I'd rather have either of them but not both together! But aside from that Crisis Core is a pretty good game and the graphics are beautiful (especially the cutscenes). But the facts that you can't really change weapons and equipment except one two times, when the equipment change is associated with the story and that you're alone and don't have a team make Crisis Core digress from pretty much everything that forms an RPG... But it's still a pretty good game.

I would buy them both at the same time but right now my time goes 75 % at school (homework, schooldays, etc.) and I have about 25 % "free" time. I'm in the upper secondary school right now. And almost every rpg goes, I don't really care if it is action or traditional.

Try PopoloCrois for PSP. Very charming and a lot of fun. Here is a review I did with the old site I used to work for.
Plain old gamer :)

Thanks Corbie, that's another game I'll have to try someday.

World Ends With You is also a very unique RPG. So if you're considering it, don't hesitate to try it out. Just be warned, it's a little different.

Yeah I've heard that it's different but isn't that usually a good thing in the rpgs.

I'm not sure, several of my close friends that are big RPG fans didn't care for the game. Said it was just "too weird" for them. I liked it, however.

It is just a shame that Wii doesn't have very good rpgs. The only at least decent ones I know are Rune Factory: Frontier and Tales of Symphonia: Knights of Ratatosk (or Dawn of the New World).
