Topic: What movies make you cry?

haha, that movie was really disappointing. I actually did like Ultraviolet, though, which came out around the same time, and is kind of along the same lines.

The end of Star Wars Episode III also made me well up. I don't know that I've ever actually cried during a movie, but of the ones I can recall, Revenge of the Sith and Phantom of the Opera came really close. I've been obsessed with Phantom for a long time, and seeing it on the big screen was amazing, even if the singing was sub-par on most accounts.

Oh! I forgot about the Red Balloon.

I got emotional at Up but didn't actually cry. But when I saw Toy Story 3 I was desperately trying but failing to hold back tears from behind those 3D glasses.

Toy story 3 didn't really get me going at all. I guess if you had a kid who was going off to college it would tug at your heart more.
Toy story 2 had me in tears though. That part where Jessie tells woody about when she was abandoned then that song starts playing. The scenes that go along with it make it even more heartbreaking. In the case of Lion King if you saw this as a child and didn't cry you have no soul.

If you cry because of a movie, you're an extreme wimp.

Well let's see... I cried in Up, Pursuit of Happiness and Marley and Me...Very sad movies..

You're right, I am a wimp! No joke, splinters freak me out and I would do everything in my power to prevent getting into a fistfight. And I cry during Up. I actually started this thread after watching the mashup between clips from Up and the Inception trailer on a different topic, and I almost felt the tears coming then just because it reminded me of the parts of Up that make me cry! And I'm ok with all of these things.

And to think it's called Pursuit of Happiness.

I cried when watching the anime Elfen Lied maybe 2 times.
When I was little I cried watching Spirit (the horse movie) (I AM NOT A WIMP)
Edit: What's up with everyone crying while watching up? Some parts were mean/sad, but I didn't cry. It might have helped cuz I watched it with a bunch of friends who were like WTF shotgun?!

Old Yeller is a classic tear jerker, especially for an animal lover like me.

I'm only 14 and I cried.

Titanic makes me cry everytime I watch it. And I don't start crying when Leo dies, but the last shot at the end, always gets me.

I read Old Yeller and cried and felt so ashamed! Ahh, junior high.
